My first painting in half a year, so naturally it had to be mooncalf torture-porn. She hate you real baad. :iconhypnolaplz:

It's mainly an experiment with skin. I wanted to see how colourful I could make white skin and still have it look white. I evidently failed, because her skin looks far too purple, and the only reason she has purple in her hair is to help tone down the saturation of the skin. It's hard to put injuries on a body; I always feel I'm spoiling the form and making it look too cluttered. But I guess injuries aren't meant to look neat.... :P

A wonderfully put together image. I'm guessing this is one of your own characters? Though the purpose may not have been intended, but you have portrayed the facials perfectly in this image. Not only is she being strapped down, but you can see the pure rage and humiliation within her large eyes as well as her bared teeth.

The tears show that she is in obvious pain and humiliation, while the tight jaw clearly clarifies her anger.

My favourite part in this would have to be her mouth/the blood that is almost bubbling out of her. It looks like she's been brutally beaten, which just overall gives the image that dark feeling to it.

All in all, the image is wonderfully dark, and the pain strokes really made the image come to life [as well as the parts said above]. Well done. ^^

Oh my God this is entrancing, and terrifying at the same time. This attracted me as soon as i saw your page. I imagine her face is the key question... i think it's the perfect portrait of Fear, Anger, Frustation, Solitude.
Anyway, betwixt these Life's Mistresses i saw Mercy too, that fine ability to forgive to survive. She seems ready to bear the next undeserved punishment. She's ready, she's strong because after all she wants live and in my opinion, her green eyes testify that. I've just a question: why do you do her like an animal? There is a meaning in that? A double message? However i think this is rightly crude, rightly. I'm sorry if i misspelled, but i hope you appreciate my opinion.

Indeed, blood is fun to paint. :la: Mooncalves are just things I made up when younger, they're meant to be aliens but visually look more anthropomorphic (hence why I put them in the anthro category), and I nicked their name from common usage, as it sounded appropriate. =p

I was thinking that! :XD: "Spacelizards" were my equivalent! (Just think about a tall human being with Voldemort's nose, cat eyes, and a big whiplike tail and you have a Spacelizard).

Hey, they sound more original in design than Mooncalves. =p

Haha, not really. The Mooncalves look more original to me! My neighbor thought the Spacelizards were supposed to be Michael Jackson. :XD: Let's just say that's pretty much when I stopped drawing them...
