ZOMBIE LLAMA! :iconhypnolaplz:

This would probably have been more pertinent had I actually submitted it straight after I'd finished it, which was several months ago, but oh well, it still has some relevance....

Painted whilst doing my duties as exhibition custodian before the start of the summer break, I finished it in a day. :meow:

I love the way you paint. I wish I could just suck that talent out of you and put it inside of me.

My digital paintwork is nowhere near as good as my traditional work though, I think the brushstrokes are a little weak in this. :P

Well, it suggests cases of anencephaly where a child is born with the brain remnants exposed -the skull failed to close in early development and the amniotic fluid caused the brain to disintegrate. These monsters are either dead at birth or die in a few days as the brain remnants can not drive the body functions - fortunantly.

The face is toad-like, there is no apparent neck . There is also no possibility of survival and there should be NO efforts at resusication or preserving life. It IS possible to reduce the chances of having such a wasted pregnancy- taking folic acid prior to conceiving and for a short time after pregnancy begins. Or is THAT against your religious beliefs ,too ?

I see, that's very interesting indeed... :O_o: But really, this is just a zombie llama, created in reaction to the trend of llama badges here last year. =p

Lukewarm? :O I don't know, but it's awesome, and I've just noticed after I posted the comment that it's digital. :O I thought it was traditional, I guess you can take that as a compliment to your digital painting skills.

I know how it feels to do something that you find amazing and you barely get a couple of favs for it in the next 24 hours. You're getting really good at this, do you find it easier than traditional painting?

Such is the dichotomy between one's own perception of one's work and other people's perception. . .

I wrote something about the process compared to traditional in the artist comments for Chaos Marine Study. . . it's different from traditional, more convenient. Since completing my first traditional painting in months recently I've decided that I do still prefer traditional, and that my trad paintings look better at the moment.

Why can't people see how awesome I am? :crying:

It is more satisfying to feel the brush touching the paper or canvas and the paint on your fingers and the cool wind in your hair, digital art is more frigid, like having sex with a prostitute who doesn't care about you. Traditional paintings care about you.

I prefer the analogy of digital painting being like pleasuring oneself, and traditional being like actual sex. :B
