More Magic card art. :dummy:

I tried for a majestic (again) and mysterious feel for this one, in keeping with the character of the most magically powerful element in Magic: The Gathering. This dictated the low horizon-line to emphasise the hugeness of the main island, and the strange shape of said island. Many existing island illustrations for this game depict coastal areas, so I wanted it blatantly obvious that this was an island, so it had to sit entirely within the picture.

Although I'm happy with the composition, the colours aren't like I imagined, which is a risk when one doesn't even know what one wants the colours to be like. I also rushed this one again, and fudged just about the whole thing. :c

The colors you choose are beautiful. I love the main island, with it's window to the sun setting sky. Also, how you shaded it so it has depth, especially in the middle right.

Woah awesome landscape! I love that island! Hmm only thing is the colour of the sky doesn't seem to quite match the light on the land? But other than that, nice work! :)
