I had the idea to paint a more positive and confident Mooncalf portrait than I had before. The dress was originally intended to be far more fanciful and baroque but I decided simpler looked better. It shows off her rump better also. :paranoid:

Would you be ashamed?

The haughty expression in her face and posture is great. Good choice on the dress. I think if you would have gone with a more ornate dress it would have taken away from the character's personality.
