A little something I painted for my sister's birthday. :meow:

I'd never actually painted grass before; it was hard... even David Shephard says it's ruddy hard. More than anything, the whole thing was really an excuse to try painting an Alpine meadow. :bucktooth:

Extremely impressive. I was highly surprised that this was a traditional painting instead of an actual digital one.

The colors look really vibrant, not to mention that they are contrasted very well. The amount of detail in this painting is pretty stunning too. Amazing job. :)

Really? =p I think vibrancy is more a case of contrast and tone than anything else, and having a scanner at one's disposal. Hopefully I've improved since painting this though. :meow:
